London Ski & Snowboard Show kicks off winter

It might be cold, wet and windy outside but that doesn't mean winter has started. However, the season does kick off this weekend with the return of the Ski and Snowboard Show!

With a range of new events, deals and competitions, the 2014 Ski and Snowboard Show is set to be bigger and better than ever! The 2014 Show will host a range of tour operators and chalet companies who will be on hand to advise you if you're considering a ski holiday.

The Show will also offer visitors live freestyle ski demonstrations, insider tips from snow sports experts in the Mountain Talks Theatre, après bars, live music and the chance to receive a free lift pass to a variety of resorts.

Here's just a few of the things you have to look forward to at the biggest gathering of ski and snowboard lovers in the country!

Lessons now available!

If you’ve never set foot on a slope before or you just want to brush up on skills ahead of the season, The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show London offer lessons for all abilities. All equipment is provided, all you need to do is wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and bring some gloves and loads of enthusiasm! You don’t even need to wait in a queue - you can book your ski or snowboard session on the indoor slope online before you go. Lessons start from £5. 

Mountain Talks Theatre

  

Get inspired with insider tips from leading experts, find out what life as a seasonnaire is really like, learn how to stay on the slopes and more with the shows outstanding line up of talks.
